Women of Terra.do event
Welcome to our second Women of Terra.do event for 2025, a public event!
Join us on July 18 at 8:00 AM PT for a conversation with Cristina Shoffner, a dynamic voice in U.S. climate policy and clean economy innovation.
This conversation is especially timely given the current global turbulence and shifting geopolitical dynamics around climate action.
Cristina currently works at the Clean Economy Project, where she helps drive progress at the intersection of climate, policy, and industry. She previously served at Breakthrough Energy, a climate-focused platform founded by Bill Gates, where she led private sector engagement for the U.S. policy team and played a key role in shaping strategies to advance bold federal climate policy.
Cristina also brings deep experience from public service. She worked in the U.S. Senate and served as Special Assistant for Legislative Affairs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality under President Obama, supporting efforts to protect natural resources and critical ecosystems.
She holds a B.S. with honors in Earth & Environmental Science and Spanish from the University of Michigan.
