Grid Integration

NTU International A/S is seeking a Grid Integration & Energy Systems Expert for a project in Bulgaria, starting July 2025, lasting 20 months. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in power system planning and grid integration. Proficiency in grid modelling software and knowledge of EU regulations is preferred. The position is based in Paris, France.
NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex, and we are searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The project will be implemented in Bulgaria, with an intended start date in July 2025 and a duration of 20 months.
About the Job

We are seeking a Grid Integration & Energy Systems Expert (Cat. II) with extensive experience in power system planning, grid integration of renewable energy, and energy infrastructure projects.
• Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field
• Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English
• At least 10 years of professional experience in power system planning, grid integration of renewable energy, and energy infrastructure projects
• Experience conducting grid impact assessments, interconnection studies, and regulatory compliance reviews, as demonstrated in at least three projects
• Desirable Qualifications:
• Proficiency in grid modelling software (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT, PowerFactory, or similar)
• Knowledge of grid codes, transmission planning, and smart grid technologies
• Experience working with EU power system operators and regulators
